What fun it would be to attend this Tomato Festival!!!  Can you just imagine all the beautiful and colorful tomatoes they would be selling and sampling?!  We absolutely love tomatoes and love trying new varieties in the garden.  The herloom varieties are just wonderful along with the old standards.  We really like the Celebrity tomato along with the large Roma style tomatoes.  There is nothing like slicing a fresh tomato and serving them with some fresh sliced mozzarella and sprinkling with fresh basil and drizzling some really good olive oil over them.  Delici

Since this is the summer season, a lot of you don't want to stay in the kitchen and cook very much, so on days like that, we like to bring out our crock pot and toss in a roast to have ready for dinner.  If you are needing a delicious Beef Blend to season your roast with, here is a really good one.  You can also use it for beef stews.

Combine 2 tsp. medium grind black pepper, 2 tsp. sea salt, 1/4 tsp. granulated garlic, 2 tsp. granulated onion, 3 tsp. dried parsley flakes, 2 tsp. crushed dried rosemary, 1 tsp. dried savory and 1 tsp.

While there are so many veggies still available at your local farmers markets, please take advantage of the salad options.  Have you ever tried making a Greek salad?  You can put mixed lettuce greens, red onions, feta cheese and any other type of salad goodies you prefer.

Here is a Greek Blend that can be used for a salad dressing or just to season up other types of veggies and meats.

1/2 tsp. medium ground black pepper, 2 tsp. granulated garlic, 1 tsp. dried lemon peel and 1 tsp.

Another variation will be the different times of the year that you do more cooking and baking.  Some herbs and spices are purchased only seasonall

Combine 2 tsp. ground coriander, 1/2 tsp. ground cayenne, 1/2 tsp. ground cumin, 1/4 tsp. Five Spice Powder, 1 tsp. granulated garlic, 1 tsp. ground ginger and 1 tsp.
